Don't go blaming video games just because you want to hide the fact you're a crappy parent. The only reason kids can't stop with the video games is because parents don't have the authority to stop them. Also, parents use the games as a virtual babysitter, just to keep their kids occupied so they don't have to do what they should be: parenting. If parents simply keep games away from kids until they're mature enough to know that they shouldn't overdo it with the games, we wouldn't have this problem. Or, they can simply enforce that school comes first. B's and A's to play them at all.

I'm sorry, but this is bulls**t. You can't get addicted to video games because you cant develop a physiological NEED for them. You can have strong feelings towards playing them, but all you need is a little self control. Very, VERY few people actually die in any way related to video games. the highest percentage of video game related deaths is in South Korea, and they have more electric fan related deaths. The people who are so-call "addicted" have usually just failed in life, or are going through tough times, and video games give them an alternate world to escape to. If there weren't so many jerks in middle school, there would be a lot less middle schoolers. using most of their time playing video games. The people who lose their social lives and their grades/jobs due to video games are simply weak-willed and give up easily.

Thanks for this valuable words here. Its really makes some thoughts inside and also provides way to set up a new way to move too. I have some connections with a service to explore working of various writing companies ( http://essayboards.com) and i think it brings some useful thoughts to many as well.

Keep it up :)
